  • Following a decision of ISPA's Management Committee, two points on the Code of Conduct have been consolidated into the current point 5:
    • ISPA members must make the terms and conditions of acceptable use of a service available to customers prior to the commencement of any service agreement and at any time thereafter, on request.
    • ISPA members must have an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This policy must be clearly communicated to all customers. have been replaced by one.
  • Take-down notification procedure modified to remove the requirement that the complaint is in the form of an affadavit. An option to submit a complaint via the post was also added.


  • HTML version of the ECT Act added to the reference page


  • Code of conduct logo added to all pages.
  • Added a PROATIA manual point to the practical recommendations page.
  • Various hyperlinks edited/added to several pages.
  • Copies of several chapters of the ECT Act uploaded.


  • Page added listing sites with information on protecting minors.


  • Practical recommendations updated to reflect the RCIPCI Act, instead of the preceding Bill.
